Integral Yoga - Beginner I class (for beginners & advanced beginners)
This Hatha yoga class embodies the tradition of an ancient yet scientific system, which revitalizes the body & calms the mind.  Yoga postures, breathing exercises, relaxation & meditation work together to strengthen & purify the circulatory, digestive, endocrine, respiratory, & nervous systems.  Yoga conditions the physical body to develop flexibility, strength, endurance & good posture.  Gift yourself the experience of yoga.  (Do not eat 2 hours prior to class.)

This class unites mother & child, integrating the changes taking place physically, emotionally & spiritually during pregnancy.  Yoga movements, postures & breathing practices prepare expectant mothers to have a more comfortable birthing experience through gentle stretching, toning & strengthening of the body.  (Previous experience in yoga is not necessary.  Recommended for women from their 2nd trimester to birth.  If you need to eat, eat something light 1 hour prior to class.)

This is a fun class for both mother & baby.  Together mother & baby experience a loving environment to bond & communicate while getting back into shape.  Gentle postures are practiced to gain overall body strength. Breathing & relaxation techniques are utilized to revitalize the body.  You are invited to bring your baby, 1 to 8-months-old, with you if you choose. (Previous experience in yoga is not necessary.  Do not eat 2 hours prior to class.)

"Babies are like flowers, always blooming."  Introduce your new blossom to infant massage.  This class creates a memorable bond, teaching loving touch & open communication between you & your baby.  The gift of touch is a nurturing experience & an intimate exchange using massage to help your baby sleep better, improve development, enhance bonding & attachment, relieve gas & symptoms of colic & more. (For babies 1 - 8 months of age.  Written information & massage oil provided.)

Enjoy the "spirit of play" through yoga.  Children's yoga is a gentle noncompetitive form of exercise that is healthy, safe & fun.  Children 7 - 12 years of age; learn to acquire body awareness, increase energy, improve strength & flexibility, develop good coordination & posture & increase concentration, relaxation, rejuvenation & so much more.  Yoga allows children to explore the body, expand the mind & express the spirit.  (Previous experience in yoga is not necessary.  Do not eat 2 hours before class.)
Spend quality time with your child learning yoga sharing a joyful adventure.  Together yoga postures, breathing, deep relaxation & massage will be utilized for a delightful & playful experience with your child.  Children 3 - 6 years old, accompanied by an adult, will enjoy this fun, loosey goosey class.
